ISFiT is one of the largest student volunteer organizations in Trondheim. In February 2027, we will host the ISFiT festival for participants from around the world and for the city of Trondheim.
To make this happen, we rely on a large team of volunteers. By the time the festival takes place, around 500 volunteers will be involved in organizing and running the event. Recruitment therefore happens in several rounds throughout the year.
On Monday, March 9, we open our third recruitment round. In this round, we are recruiting 52 volunteer positions across all teams in ISFiT, for those who want to join us as team members.
Everyone who applies for a position in ISFiT is guaranteed an interview. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and hear why you would like to be part of the festival.
When you apply, you will first be considered for the position you selected. However, you may also be considered for other roles where we think you could be a good fit. We always take your preferences into account.
Note: To be eligible to apply, you must be residing in Trondheim from now until February 2027.

The Student Peace Prize (SPP) is awarded every other year during ISFiT – the International Student Festival in Trondheim – to a student or student organization that has made an outstanding contribution to peace, freedom, democracy, and human rights. The purpose of the prize is to highlight the laureate’s work and to create a platform for even greater impact in the future. It also aims to generate both national and international recognition of students as a driving force for change.
The Student Peace Prize is also a section within ISFiT. As a volunteer in SPP, you are therefore a volunteer within ISFiT, sharing a vibrant and social community while often working on projects that connect different parts of the organization.
