The participant selection process for ISFiT27 has reached an important milestone. All selected and waitlisted applicants have now received their emails.
This year, ISFiT received a record-breaking 28,334 applications from 175 countries. Due to financial and practical limitations, we were only able to offer places to 400 participants. This made the selection process exceptionally competitive.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming interest in ISFiT27 and would like to thank everyone who took the time to apply. All applicants who have been selected as participants or placed on the waiting list have successfully received an email informing them of their status. Unfortunately, we experienced technical difficulties while sending out rejection emails. Our email domain crashed during the process, meaning that some applicants received their rejection emails while others did not.

If you have not received an email from ISFiT, this unfortunately means that you have not been selected as a participant or placed on the waiting list for ISFiT27. We sincerely apologise for any confusion or uncertainty this may have caused. With 28,334 applications and only 400 available places, we were unable to offer participation to the vast majority of applicants.Due to the exceptionally high number of applications, we are unfortunately unable to provide individual feedback on applications.

Please note that all selection decisions are final. We are unable to accommodate requests for reevaluation or reconsideration and will not respond to individual inquiries regarding these matters. We recognise the time and effort that goes into submitting an application and sincerely appreciate the interest shown by students from around the world. Although we cannot welcome everyone to Trondheim in February 2027, we hope that those who were not selected will consider applying again for ISFiT29.
