Palestinian Narrative

This exhibition focus on Palestinian artwork.

Exhibition Norwegian artist Henrik Placht has curated this exhibiton. Placht is most famous for establishing The International Academy of Art Palestine. With Jerusalem as one of the areas ISFiT Dialogue Groups 2009 invite students from, this exhibition focus on Palestinian artwork with four video parts: Sharif Waked’s Chic Point, The Jerusalem Show and two video loops showing works from the students in the International Academy of Art Palestine. Chic Point documents the thousands of moments where the Palestinians attempt to move through the intricate and constantly expanding network of Israeli checkpoints. The artworks showed in the Jerusalem Show encompasses a variety of media, including photography, video, painting, performance, and sculpture, and were installed throughout the main quarters of the Jerusalem Old City.
