Literature can enlighten or enrage you, relax or revolt you. Through fiction we can travel the world and learn about other cultures, people and conflicts. Literature is potentially a unique cultural bridge that can help us overcome differences and create understanding. The political potential and the power of the written word is clearly illustrated when writers risk their freedom and lives to tell their stories. How can authors become spokesmen in conflicts between nations, religions, ethnic groups and cultures? What role does literature play in peacebuilding? NB: Age limit 18 after 6 p.m. It is not longer possible to buy tickets to this event, however tickets will be sold at the main entrance. |
