A former child soldier becomes an ambassador for the international development aid organization Oxfam Film (Language: English) War Child, an award-winning documentary, chronicles the tumultuous, shocking, inspiring and ultimately hopeful odyssey of Emmanuel Jal. This former child soldier of Sudan’s brutal civil war became an ambassador for the international development aid organization Oxfam in 2006. And he is now an emerging international hip hop star sharing a message of peace for his war-torn land and beloved Africa. This film screening is a collaboration with Trondheim Film Club.
