Opening Ceremony

Archbishop Desmond Tutu opens ISFiT 2009 (NB: Invitation Only). Will be showed live at STV.no.

Ceremony Tonight, the Grand Hall will be filled to the brim with excited participants and volunteers who will witness an astounding opening of the 10th International Student Festival in Trondheim. The ceremony will include a wide spectrum of cultural performances. You will be given a taste of Norwegian folk-music by one of Norway’s greatest violinist, Arve Tellefsen, experience the men’s student choir Pirum, and be amazed by breathtaking circus performers. The main event of this evening will be Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s opening speech. Welcome to ISFiT 2009!

Note: Admission to the ceremony is by invitation only, however it will be transmitted live at Lyche and Edgar.
