- I am really looking forward to meet the you, was the salute to the future ISFiT participants. In tonights election at Studentersamfundet the majority voted Trygve Thorson (23) from Hemsedal as the next President of ISFiT with 118 votes to 79 in the Grand Hall at Studentersamfundet.
The ISFiT 2009 President Trygve Thorson has chosen peace building as the theme for ISFiT 2009, and wishes to return to ISFiTs roots as the 10th ISFiT kicks off in 2009. -ISFiT is a brilliant arena for building peace, and I believe this is what ISFiT is really about. As former Head of Concerts in ISFiT 2007 he has experience form the organization, and is really exited to get going.
Students in Struggle[17.04.2007] Students have always played an important role in the society, as perhaps THE main agent of change for the better. The struggle for democracy and a just society is however anything but easy, and maintaining the necessary inspiration and motivation is difficult in the absence of apparent progress. Skills, knowledge and experience are therefore needed to improve the success ratio and the effectiveness of students' struggles.

Dialogue Africa[17.04.2007]The ISFiT Dialogue Groups 2007 have now been reorganized and we have become a part of the organization Building Peaces as Dialogue Africa. We are working on project development and planning, and have chosen a new leader and defined new areas of responsibility. |
